Best practice + know-how = project success
Realizing efficient and sustainable business solutions requires more than just implementing new software.
With our industry and proces know-how from over 35 years, we offer you practical solutions for efficient and flexible process control during project implementation. We incorporate your requirements and offer you a software solution custom-fit to your business processes.
In the implementation of our software solutions we adjust individually to your requirements and to your company’s circumstances. In doing so we offer several tried and tested approaches to project implementation:
V model – classic or agile
The V model project approach is used wherever special requirements in respect of diligence and documentation are in place – such as the GAMP5 requirements for drug companies. The requirements described in the customer’s or consultant’s specifications are analysed in joint workshops and laid down in a target concept or specification that is the basis for implementation. A process-integrated risk analysis specifies the scope and depth required of quality assurance.
As an extension to the phase-oriented approach GUS has carefully thought out and effectively combined agile elements with the classic V model. Using our approach based on the agile V model, high quality standards are maintained while at the same time we are able to be very flexible due to implementation in sub-steps known as sprints.
Agile project implementation methodology
An agile approach is suitable for companies that would like to play an active part in implementation and also want to receive fast and “tangible” feedback on their requirements. Along the lines of SCRUM, product functionality is regularly provided and evaluated in a joint review. This approach proves its worth wherever new, future-oriented business processes are planned and implemented that cannot be fully defined in advance.
For swift and near-to-standard implementation at what as a rule are smaller SMEs we use the QuickStart method, which is aimed especially at going easy on our customers’ resources. We start by briefly taking stock on-site of the processes and logistical structure involved. The system is then installed and configured. After a joint trial run the customer’s staff are given an induction to the software.
Which approach is the right one for your company will depend on which entrepreneurial and organisational requirements need to be taken into account. Contact us!
