In 2009, the competition "ERP-System of the year" will be carried out for the fourth time by the ERP Management journal and the Center for Enterprise Research (CER) at the University of Potsdam. Companies were able to enter the competition under five categories – non-repetitive production, serial production, process industry, retail and service industry. The submitted evaluations are checked by a jury and are made subject to a multi-level selection process. Following the provider presentation on the 3rd November for the best three systems in each category, the award ceremony took place during the ERP Provider Congress in Potsdam.
