For more than 30 years now, Fuchs & Böhme GmbH in Vlotho-Exter has been present in the market of chemical-technical cleaners. With GUS-OS ERP the specialist for powder and granular filling will now be using integrated software for the first time, which displays all relevant business processes. “We expect more transparency in our procedures and of course a higher efficiency from the new solution”, summarises Andreas Kiso, executive director of Fuchs & Böhme.

Since the services offered by the company range from product development to production, packing, warehousing and logistics and also packaging design and development, GUS-OS ERP has many task fields: These include supporting product development for example through formulation management. Since all production steps at Fuchs & Böhme are subject to quality management, which includes reception inspection, production supervision, final inspection and corresponding archiving, the entire programme package can be utilised. Indeed, GUS-OS ERP stands out due to its integration of standard business and quality processes – and if wanted, even includes document management and archiving. For warehousing and logistics tasks, the East Westphalians can access the functionalities of the warehouse management system.

For implementing GUS-OS ERP, the company used the implementation method GUS-OS Speed. This clearly reduced the time needed to implement the solution. So, the project only needed four months – a great savings in cost for Fuchs & Böhme.
