The capability to understand customers, to competently inform them and to enthuse them with interesting offers, are company goals and prerequisites for success — with future, new or current customers. Therefore, being able to support the sales department with current data and practical organisation assistance has direct influence upon sales efficiency.
Thus, Kiesel Bauchemie GmbH u. Co. KG, one of the leading manufacturers of laying systems for tiles and natural stones, wood floors, as well as textile and resilient flooring, makes sure that the sales force has access, via laptops, to all customer data and can also flexibly plan their visits. With the support of a CRM-System (Customer Relationship Management) from the GUS Group, Kiesel is assured high accuracy in customer management, optimal support of the sales organisation as well as making relevant customer data available to every department in the company.
With the Customer Control Center, a part of the customer information system, GUS-OS CRM provides for an optimal overview of the customer related data and the direct switch to the functions. The application integrated workflow controls the data transfer to the main office, further processing as well as the back transfer and provides the users with an overview of their tasks with role-based To-Do-Lists.
After one and a half years of having this IT-support, our sales force would no longer go without it: Besides supplying access to the various information needed, planning the visits as well as visit documentation has been made easier. In addition, it is easy to use: a uniform user interface ensures access to homogeneous databases. In the meantime, the solution has been enhanced. A special multi-level sales support concept was developed for Kiesel.
In the future, the company wants to enhance the data integration by upgrading to GUS-OS ERP. “GUS-OS CRM provides flexible information acquisition for our sales force. Thus, our employees are optimally informed even during spontaneous customer visits. At the same time, documentation of the visits is possible.”
