bela-pharm GmbH & Co. KG is one of the most important vendors of products in the veterinary medicine industry. The company, located in Vechta at the center of the Oldenburg Munsterland, specializes in the research, development, production and sales of medicinal veterinary products.

Since 1997 bela-pharm have been working successfully with the lot-oriented GUS Group sector-solution. In order to improve the company processes and to make them more flexible, bela-pharma decided to modernize. In the first stage the existing system was extended with the modules GUS-OS Laboratory and GUS-OS Productpass. The iSeries based solution will be replaced with the platform independent Java-based GUS-OS ERP in order to increase transparency in sales and production.

bela-pharma will carry out the reorganization of the product development processes with GUS-OS Productpass. Their aim is to increase safety with automatic documentation and to reduce outlay with fewer resources. With GUS-OS Productpass not only will the processes be more transparent and more coordinated, but the application-integrated workflow will simplify the task of process management. bela-pharma will also be automating quality assurance. In the future GUS-OS Laboratory will ensure that tests are carried out quicker and safer.
