For 15 years, Husarich GmbH has been importing, cultivating, and selling kitchen herbs and spices, tea, dried fruits and vegetables, and nuts. Whereby only the pure raw materials are processed – without any additives. On customer request, the goods are also treated to reduce germs, milled, grated or mixed with other natural raw materials. The company’s headquarters is in Bad Reichenhall, however Hamburg made sense as a production and trade location. The proximity to the harbor and of course Hamburg as the traditional city of the spice trade are the arguments in favor of the choice of location.
Decision in favor of quality
The management of Husarich GmbH examined various corporate solutions for the process industry in depth. The choice was finally made in favor of GUS-OS ERP. There are many reasons for this decision: the topic of charges was especially important to the company. But here, the focus was not just on traceability, but also on the status that the charges can have. That is, a system with which quality can be determined, classified, and traced.
Furthermore, before the conversion to GUS-OS ERP, Husarich was working with a product that did not take the company’s flows into consideration. With the application-integrated workflow in GUS-OS ERP, the company is now in a position to make its own flows clearer and more concrete. “We needed a system that is absolutely familiar with the processes and requirements of the food industry. The display of food safety was a special concern for us. GUS-OS ERP is the system that won us over with its industry-specific features,” according to Ronald Sick, the CEO of Husarich GmbH in Hamburg.
