"The Quality Management System of GUS Deutschland GmbH is exemplary and managed at a very high standard," confirms the current audit report.
Regular audits through customers are part of our daily routine. Supplier audits carry a lot of weight for pharmaceutical companies, because for them the quality management system of their suppliers is a decisive factor in obtaining and maintaining the manufacturer license.
Based the audit through their customer SANIPharma GmbH, GUS received the seal of approval with regard to transparency, sovereignty and security of the QM System. The auditors especially appreciated the structured design and organization of the QM and support processes and the transparency of the QM documentation.
The public portion of the QM handbook is accessible for the general public on the GUS homepage. The specification documentation is available to all employees through the intranet. It has also been positively noted that index numbers have been defined for all core processes which serve as a basis for the evaluation through management. This index number system is visualized through a traffic light illustration. Customer and error messages are systematically recorded and processed by a specifically trained team in accordance with a process that has been defined through a directive.
"The result of this audit proves once more that our efforts and continuous expansion of our quality management system meet the requirements of our customers," comments Dirk Nettersheim, Quality Officer of GUS Deutschland GmbH in response to the successfully passed audit.
With their product SANIPharma GmbH in Ottobrunn follows a new path in homecare. Medication for patients is individually produced and packaged in so-called blister bags or weekly blisters.
