GUS-OS ERP was developed according to the customary quality requirements (GAMP) for these sectors. This means that quality-oriented sector standards have been taken into consideration in the system – e.g. 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, GLP, AMG (pharmaceuticals) or EU-VO 178/2002, IFS, BRC (food). Additional requirements such as Audit Trail, Electronic Signature or for the pharmaceutical industry the more important validation procedures have already been added to the design in GUS-OS ERP.

Java Technology
GUS-OS ERP opens up new possibilities in information technology. The software, developed completely in Java, is platform independent and fully scaleable. All browser-capable clients are supported – from desktop clients right up to PDA. External employees (sales representatives, subsidiaries) or external partners (customers, suppliers) can have predefined access to selected functions – naturally secured by the integrated GUS-OS Security Layer.
Cost Conscious
GUS-OS ERP is cost conscious. New implementation techniques speed up implementation projects. The intuitive user interface reduces expensive training and instruction. In addition, thanks to browser support, there is no need for additional installations on the client. The possibility to carry out prospective validations saves on project costs.

Browser
Functions and information from GUS-OS ERP can be called from any browser-capable client and from any location with predefined access authorization. Because no additional client installation other than a browser is necessary, employees in the head office, in subsidiaries or mobile sales forces can similarly use the system. Partners can have limited access to predefined functions.
