CHARISMA Material Management
Basis Module

The CHARISMA Basis Module for Material Management forms, along with stock accounting, the fundamentals of CHARISMA, especially for the item requirement planning as well as the operative modules for purchase, production and sales.

The lot related stock accounting allows stocks to be managed in several dimensions (e.g. QC status and warehouse/site). For each lot there follows the calculation and monitoring of the QC-release date, remaining run time and expiry date in relation to minimum shelf live. Physical stock on hand, logical stock on hand and stock on order and reserved stock on hand are dealt with differently. The variable definition of the booking code gives a unbroken origin and utilization audit trail of the relative materials used at both the lot and pallet level.

The CHARISMA-Basis Module for Material Management include the following functions:

Material Management is supported by flexible definition of the warehouse organization. The warehouse can be set up either as a central or outside warehouse for
  • Raw materials, finished goods, packing material
  • QC-stocks (frozen warehouse, quarantine stocks)
  • Consignment goods
  • Samples and sales reps. stocks
  • Outside contractor (purchase orders etc.)
  • Forwarding
  • Staging zone and Work-In-Process stocks
  • High level warehousing with WCS integration
The material flow is made transparent by using individual booking codes:
