The CHARISMA Basis Module for Material Management forms, along with stock accounting, the fundamentals of CHARISMA, especially for the item requirement planning as well as the operative modules for purchase, production and sales.
The lot related stock accounting allows stocks to be managed in several dimensions (e.g. QC status and warehouse/site). For each lot there follows the calculation and monitoring of the QC-release date, remaining run time and expiry date in relation to minimum shelf live. Physical stock on hand, logical stock on hand and stock on order and reserved stock on hand are dealt with differently. The variable definition of the booking code gives a unbroken origin and utilization audit trail of the relative materials used at both the lot and pallet level.
